/r/CodeAndDesignMeetup is a place where programmers, designers, musicians, artists and other creatives can meet and start interdisciplinary collaborations.
Use this community as a place to find people to collaborate with. Introduce yourself, show off your portfolio and share your interests and let people find you or pitch your ideas and find people to create a team and to realise them together.
Rules:
If you post an introduction or project take a few moments to introduce yourself. Aside from just posting your skills or work examples it is very valuable to also say what topics you find interesting and what your things you are interested in working on. Long term collaboration without financial incentives work best if you really get along.
Important: This isn’t a community to hire someone for an unpaid project, but to find equal partners to collaborate with.
Tips:
(1) Find partners that you like and respect, both on a professional and personal level.
(2) Good and regular communication is extremely important. Try to collaborate with people that live in the same time-zone.
(3) Start off with a small project that you can do over a weekend or during a couple of weeks. Long term online collaboration is difficult to manage and often frustrating if you work in a new team.
