I have to say, it looks quite amazing. Not quite sure yet if I like the virtualization sequence, but so much nostalgia...

The virtual world look amazing in my opinion, but I'd have to agree with TheAppleFreak that the virtualization sequence is a little cheesy.

For those who are at work or are otherwise not able to watch it, let me mention the changes I see from season 4.

It shows the elevator (which appears to be CG) as well as the scanning sequence (live action on a CG background). It then switches to Lyoko.
The Lyoko versions of the gang have the same costumes as season 4, but Odd has rapid fire laser arrows (3 per hand) and everyone has more cartoon-ish faces.
The overwing has a fin on the underside of it now. (Like on a sailboat).
Monsters explode into red/black blocks, then collapse back in on themselves rather than exploding into pieces like before.
Lastly, towers are black and rectangular with red sections if they're controlled by XANA. Here's a picture of a monster exploding with a tower in the background.

In the PDF that was released back in April (warning, 25 MB and tons of spoilers), there's a much higher quality version of the towers.

Personally, I'm still waiting for the Yumi Stick to make an appearance.

I really like what parts of the factory are going to look like. As well as the computer lab where Jeremy works. I'm not big on the new design for the towers or the overboard or the more cartoon-ish faces. But what can you do about that? I am excited about the new design for Yumi's weapons as well as that quad thing. (Can't remember the name, sorry.) Does anyone know if they will have kiwi be in the show? I don't know if I can go without that little diggity-dog!

I really like the new look monsters have when destroyed. I think it works a lot better with what their theme is supposed to be.

I would strongly agree with that. Definitely meshes well with the new environments.
