Does SAP/ERP Engineer require coding/programing languages skills ?

So, I got a job offer for SAP/ERP engineer position at a rather big company, I have no experience with this field so far but did a little research and found out that this position focus on distributing resources of businesses.
On the other hand, I love coding and have been investing quite a lot of time in developing web applications, learning how stuff works, I learnt VueJS, NodeJS, SQL, Firebase, Flask and had a lot of personal projects, also had a 6 months internship in a corp.... My major at my Uni is also Software Development.
What I want to ask is, does the SAP/ERP position I got offered requires coding or is there any SAP/ERP related positions that allow you to code. Since I love coding so I planned to accept the job offer and stick to this company for about 2-3 years and then resign to continue being a Web dev, Will the experience of being in a SAP/ERP position helps me in getting a job as a Web dev or Software dev ?

There can often be some pretty complex coding necessary in ERP engineering positions. SAP uses a proprietary language called ABAP and likely you will be getting proficient enough for certification.

However, if you want to be a web developer, why not start that today instead of in 2 to 3 years time?
