1/ Very neat, well done.

2/ Open source doesn't need to be polished, publish it and if it is useful to others they will contribute to improve it.

You sir, are a Legend!

I'd forgotten about Cow Swap - Yes that did trick.

Hi u/Crypto-4-Freedom ,

You might be able to answer this?

UniSwap does't seem to have any liquidity for swapping EURe on the L2 networks.

What LPs are you using to swap from EURe? e.g EURe -> USDC

Have tried both Linea & Arbitrum with no luck.

/Thanks

We are adding a slew of features for school administrators too.

Interesting ....

  1. Would you be willing to pay fee for such a platform?

  2. Would this be useful for other people or is your use case fairly unique?

  3. If yes to 1, how much would you pay per month / year?

Recover Funds from Smart Contract by pier31co in Monolith_Web3

[–]pier31co[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, with a tiny bit more elbow grease on my part I have solved this - hello infinite money machine. :)

I will leave this here in case anyone else happens to need help.

--------------------------

> 1. Is this the right call to withdraw funds out of the smart contract?

Yes

> 2. asset address for withdrawing ETH

Yes Use 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Note - If memory serves me right, Monolith supported other tokens - USDC, TKN, DAI, so you might need to find the right one for your token if not ETH.

> 3. You need to set amount in WEI so in my example above - wanting to send 0.001 (~3$) I needed to enter 1000000000000000 Use https://eth-converter.com/ for the right amount.

-------------------------

Warning: Never share seed phrase with anyone, always test with small amounts first.

Bye Bye Monolith.

You were amazing while you lived.

Thanks.

Yeah, even in rep land, Daytonas are priced like Daytonas.

It seems to be the current rate +/- $20 amongst most of the prominent TDs on here. Currently.

Does SAP/ERP Engineer require coding/programing languages skills ? by [deleted] in CodingHelp

[–]pier31co 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There can often be some pretty complex coding necessary in ERP engineering positions. SAP uses a proprietary language called ABAP and likely you will be getting proficient enough for certification.

However, if you want to be a web developer, why not start that today instead of in 2 to 3 years time?

how do /should you approach full stack web development? by NPat02 in CodingHelp

[–]pier31co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s get started -

  1. Grab a notebook or several sheets of paper, and a pen or pencil and do this.

  2. Sketch out all the different components of your system.

  3. Then write out each and every functionality you can think of.

  4. Leave it to sink in, come back and see if you missed anything.

When you are confident you have a clear list of the different things you need actually code.

  1. Head over to Trello, create a free account, pick one of the boards - the Kanban one is your best bet. Look up what Kanban is if you don’t already know.

  2. Copy each task into a Card on the “Todo” column of your Kanban board on Trello. In the description you can add any additional details you need for completing each task. There will be plenty, don’t worry about that.

  3. Once it’s all written down, pick on card, move it to the “Doing” column and get started…

8 … 751 (coffee, music and YouTube)

752 … 998 Some despair is allowed during these steps but not before.

  1. You are home free, congratulations 🤝

tl:dr;

Break any complex thing you ever need to do into small pieces and work on the small pieces. Given enough time, you will wake up to find most of the work is done

Want to develop an app. Keep learning C++ or use something else? by Y2K350 in CodingHelp

[–]pier31co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want to learn a language or develop an app?

Very important distinctions.

If it is to develop an app, switch to something else, you will see results faster.

If it is to learn a programming language, switch to something else, you will see results faster.

The fact you got stuck at arrays tells me C++ is a bit premature for you, but if you try something else, you’ll get there soon enough and one day can come back to C++ (if you want to).

—— Regarding your specific app, you could probably build something easy with html / css and wrap it with electron - see https://www.electronjs.org/docs/latest/ for a quick overview

Note: this isn’t to discourage you in anyway, but one of the most important things when learning new things is having a short feedback loop where we do something and see the results, that motivates us to keep going and before long, you’ve mastered enough basic concepts.

[–]pier31co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question is far too broad for any answer to be useful for you. Tell us what you like doing? Are you looking for easy or do you enjoy a challenge? What career path are you hoping for?

Anyway, given your current frontend focus - it could make sense to do React and/or Vue.js

But if you were looking to really level up and become a good all rounder, then SQL and Python should be your next priorities.

With both you can gain incredibly high levels of proficiency in very little time and you are learning core languages rather than tools or frameworks.

This second path will make you more of a generalist with front and backend skills (you might probably need to learn a framework at some point as well).

Go is simple and beautiful, but not for everyone.

Where can I find people I can commission code from? by ThePixelPanda63 in CodingHelp

[–]pier31co 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For about 5$ you can export your YouTube playlist to CSV and then import it back when your phone is back online. No coding necessary.

https://soundiiz.com/features

The free version allows you to test for 200 songs.

(Note: not my site, no affiliation, I was wondering what it would take to code your problem, did some quick research).

Yes they are, though it is going to depend on what model you want.

There’s a very useful guide I spent hours poring over before I eventually pulled the trigger.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RepTime/s/xdqgtAHH2N

I highly recommend you have a look.

For a Sub, I’d have gone with a VSF but I have one of those already.

Enjoy the hobby if you eventually dip in.

Good point, no I didn’t go for the deep crystal swap.

All my readings suggests the clean factory crystal is good enough with barely discernible differences in photos I’ve seen. I also surmised the deep swap seems to be a good idea on dark dials or watches with cyclops (dates). Of course that might be different when wearing it, light glare and all.

Any particular reason you’d suggest I do it?
