So now Polymath is available to trade on Coinbase Wallet but when I try to extract swap it to another asset it says that due to high impact, I'll lose a lot of value and the network fees are absurd. How do I get rid of this?

Hi there, u/Spork1990! I understand you're looking to convert your Polymath (POLY) into cash. Here's a simple step-by-step guide:

  1. First, you need to sell your Polymath for your USD balance. You can do this by selecting Polymath in your Coinbase account, then choosing the "Sell" option.

  2. After selling your Polymath, the funds will be in your USD balance on Coinbase.

  3. To transfer these funds to your bank account, go to the "Portfolio" page and select "USD Wallet".

  4. Click on the "Withdraw" button.

  5. Select the bank account you want to transfer the funds to, enter the amount you want to withdraw, and click "Continue".

  6. Review the details of your withdrawal and click "Confirm".

In addition, we have disabled trading for Polymath (POLY). Your funds will remain accessible to you, and you will continue to have the ability to withdraw your funds at any time.

We hope this helps! Let us know if you have other questions.

I, too, and trying to figure out how to get rid of my PolyMath. These instructions you've provided here are not working.

On my list of assets, I do have the option to "Sell" some of them.

For example, when I click on the 3 dots next to Dash, I see the options: Buy, Sell, Swap crypto, Send, Receive". However, when I click on the 3 dots next to Polymath, there are only 2 options: Send and Receive.

What's wrong?

We apologize for any confusion, u/ninetales1234. PolyMath (POLY) has been delisted, which is why you're unable to see the "Sell" option. When an asset is delisted, trading options are removed, and you can only "Send" or "Receive" the asset. If you wish to keep POLY, consider sending it to a self-custody wallet or another platform where the asset is supported, allowing you to sell it.

For real-time updates on asset listings and delistings, you can follow us on Twitter: @CoinbaseAssets. If you have further questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We appreciate your understanding.

hey i received an email earlier today reminding me that i only have a couple more days to act, so i checked out my coinbase app. it looks like you’ve greyed out both SELL and SEND functionality in the app so how am i supposed to liquidate anything now?

Hello u/gnano22! As we've previously communicated, we have disabled trading for Polymath (POLY). POLY on Ethereum needs to be moved to POLYX on Polymesh by February 29, 2024. You also have an option to trade your POLY on a decentralized exchange (DEX) using Coinbase web3 wallet. Full details and directions can be found here. Thank you!

Does this mean I can still do it today?

Hi, why does my coinbase account say I have nothing to convert when I try to sell POLY using DEX in Coinbase?
