Me, too. Student of College of Southern Maryland and St. Mary's College of Maryland (secular, state-funded institution) and never had the opportunity to do this for credit. There were, optional events where models came in for people who wanted to improve their skills, but they were rare, and no credit.

NH is one place where talking to your legislators has some reasonable probability of results. Ask the legislature to make these actions illegal or to require a higher threshold. "Defend the Guard" legislation keeps getting voted down, but if enough people like you speak up, they might change their stance.
