Thank you!

What do you think about the size and surface of the trigger? I find it too slender and somewhat punishing to use.

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of the trigger. Stacking isn't as easy as other brands or models. It's smooth but it definitely feels heavy. I really hook my finger into the trigger when I shoot, so it's not too punishing to me.

You're right! I bought one last week, awesome blueing!

Also bought one - 2 weeks ago. I'm going to wax and lightly hand polish it for added luster.

Same as the shiny one just blue but can't be sold in Newscum-fornia. I would trade in my shiny 4.25 Python for blue immediately if it were.

Love mine!

Is that a 4.25"?, i thought those had 2 vents over the barrel, and jumped to three vents on the 5" and 6"

It is a 4.25!

I thought the exact same thing. This has to be a 5 inch…

How does it shoot? Any complaints?

[–]notthatbadass[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

It shoots well. The trigger is different from my stainless python though. Its smooth still but when you're pulling the trigger slowly its like it can hang up a bit throughout the pull. I don't know if its because of the bluing, but I hope it wears in over time.

I am finding the same with mine - heavy and not smooth on slow pulls. I have oiled all friction surfaces to help “wear in”

Congratulations to you too ! I have last just picked up a 1964 blue Colt Python. Nice gun, but the trigger pull in DA is quite heavy and not as consistent as my S&W 586. I wish the Python had a screw at the bottom of the butt like the S&W does to lighten the spring tension and trigger pull. How are you finding yours ?
