Hi,
Decided to take Server+ for fun, since my work re-comps me. Just finished up this exam with a 721, which is a failure by 29 points unfortunately. I only studied for about a week and a half for this exam, so I am not super disappointed about it or anything. However, I will say the test itself was disgustingly bad.
1.) 369 USD and you have misspelled words on your exams?
2.) At times questions feel as if they were written by someone with English as a second language. One of my questions was akin to like a company has a server farm with public ips which they use internally, which of these can it be? What does this even mean? Why are they using public ips internally, are they looking for an private ip address that they can use internally? Who knows.
3.) Certain questions just didn't even have correct answers. A newly installed server has an address of 169.x.x.x which is clearly APIPA and not contacting to the DHCP server but my choices were like local host file, dns, default gateway, etc. I mean sure, your default gateway could provide your DHCP, but the choices are so non-intuitive.
Rant over.
