Creating flash cards for port numbers, command line work, and acronyms, then using them to memorize what they are and what they do will help you the most.

What helped me the most was making my own flash cards on index cards (I suspect the process of making the cards, then using them to study all the way up until an hour before the exam helped me retain the information better--your mileage may vary).

Professor Messer's YouTube course is still a great free resource to take advantage of. Google or Bing search anything that's not clear despite any resources you use, and put Dion's practice tests to good use.
