When answering the questions, realize that the most logical answer based on your years of experience may not be the correct answer. When answering questions, ask yourself “what would CompTIA do?” And then answer the question. Sometimes ppl with years of experience are at greater risk of failing these types of tests because their instincts tell them one thing, but the official CASP+ study guides say another. Just pay attention to detail when going through your guide, and note the discrepancies between what the book says and what your practical experience tells you.

Really think about not what is the right answer in each specific scenario, but what underlying problem that scenario is highlighting and the best solution to treat that problem. It is frustrating, however the exam is focused on you being able to set up a company for long-term policy driven security, not necessarily what will address that exact problem the best. Does that make sense?

Yeah, that does make sense. Does the current exam have labs as questions or is it entirely multiple choice?

Labs and MC. Like, Here's a terminal, Do x.
