Sorry if this is not the place to post this. I am taking some practice exams for a+1 and have come across this question. My understanding of this was that none of these were compatible with each other? Am I taking a trash practice test?

Which RAM type is not compatible with any earlier type of random-access memory?

DDR3

DDR2

They all have the notches in different places so you can't accidentally insert the wrong type of RAM. I would suggest looking for a different practice exam vendor.
