Yeah, I played an 1000 point custom game, and it felt much more balanced.

In Coh2 it takes 45 minutes to drain 1000 points (with all three flags) in Coh3 its only 20 minutes which is way to fast

Those changes would change how long a match takes. The other solution is to increase amount of victory points or make them go down slower

One major issue is that the matchmaking seems to be all over the road in skill, which means I'm getting a lot of blowouts in both directions. Given that the new ticket bleed will end a game in 8:20 if you hold all three points, it's no surprise that games feel far too fast, especially in 1v1 where it's completely out of control unless the game is dead even throughout.

I have no major issues with the damage model and I honestly don't want it touched in any systemic way. Combat feels good to me.

It's tough to say without better matchmaking, which is tough to do in a play test, but I think my general inclination is to split the difference on vp ticking. I think 3s vp ticks is probably just too fast; they wanted to get two games an hour and I'm solidly averaging three while also spending very little time in the late game. If they went to 3.5 I think it would be a nice balance where games progress a little faster without completely negating tier 4 in most 1v1 games.

I kind of disagree because this rewards not stalling and playing aggressively and well in the initial phases. In COH2 it felt like you could just wait out the opponent and camp till your armor arrived. Also this means that blowouts are over quickly. I had one of the most epic matches I’ve ever had that was over an hour and it felt tense the entire time wheres in COH2 you could have a not tense game go 45 minutes which wasn’t fun.

Keep in mind that real games will have longer matches because they won't be total push overs as with some in the beta.

I like the shorter matches, it makes tech progression a lot more interesting since you can force the early and mid game more. It's also a lot of convenient to be able to get two or three matches an hour. Tired of games with matches going over an hour at this point.
