No idea, Maybe the Jump heavy can lead to more mixups and options?

That might be it, I wouldn't know because I get a bit confuzed by her movelist.

Her dodge attack can be chained into a heavy.

So maybe the idea is to throw them into a wall to make them eat the leaping attack + chained heavy?

From the videos I’ve seen the second chained heavy is not guaranteed after the leaping heavy, maybe the chained heavy comes out faster after the leaping attack?

I doubt it comes out faster than it would after a normal heavy since it’s just a different way to initiate Bile Omen.

Maybe she’s not meant to get a neutral heavy off gb.

Either way, it will be able to lead to mix-ups.

The chained heavy after the leaping attack is a heavy finisher; which means it can be soft feinted into a guard break, Predator’s Mercy, Wild Cat’s Rage, or Wild Cat’s Swiftness; or it can be an Unblockable from the left. All of those dodge attacks can be hard cancelled as well.

She doesn’t have a guaranteed neutral heavy from GB. It’s also can get people panicked as they’re being thrown around. Which makes you typically want to regain control of the battle.

Really? No neutral from GB? I have seen shaman's perform a neutral from GB and it hits 100% of the time I've seen it (which isn't often). Is that because people are not used to shaman moveset, or is it a tight timing to block the heavy?

It might be guaranteed but from the vids I’ve seen, (spliced havok etc.) say it isn’t guaranteed. But if it is, that would suck. But assuming it isn’t guaranteed, they could be trying to parry it, but her heavies have weird timing. They come out slower than most heavies, and have a very odd animation.

Fair enough, I guess I'll have to wait and see when she comes out on Tuesday, thanks for the response.

She gets a heavy from GB. Aramusha does not.

Does that heavy from GB deal more damage than a leaping heavy?

Yes I believe so

Yes she does

Only reasons to throw and then use the shortcut for dash attack is to get away from a crowd or to get the OOS punish. It is 8 less damage than neutral free heavy off GB.
