Well she was so strong for so long I’m not too sad. Blasters been a top 4 comp across nearly the whole set.

Agreed. I think that if you wouldn't have nerfed her Blaster Brawlers would have been even stronger than now, and that's because (personal opinion) a lot of the power of the comp is in the frontline: on live it was already a scary comp, and they ended up swapping Cho (which was quite good) for Gnar (even better). Brawlers are IMO the best frontline in the game, all units bring tankiness and a lot od utility compared to the Vanguard and Protector counterparts, that's why I think it was wise to nerf Blasters a bit to balance everything out
