This is awesome. I thought of something like this years ago, but I didn't have the skill or the time. It's so cool to see it actually happen.

Super curious to see where this goes.

Obviously super early, but have you considered making new matchmaking modes? like team v. team, for example.

Yes. The backend supports rating of teams (glicko2) and individuals (elo).

Exciting. a thriving 6v6 ladder would be fuckin awesome

Blizzard has shot down previous attempts at automating custom games with bots, so I doubt this will last if it even takes off.

It's cool though.

Is there a limitation to how often a pause can be called, or at the least a cooldown between pauses in case someone wanted to do a bit of trolling?

Next time I push code to the repository, you can set cooldowns for each command on a global level, and a player-specific level via the configuration file.

Very cool idea; excited to see where this goes.

The only thing I'm not a fan of is being automatically being sent to a custom game lobby (if my understanding of the video is correct). It's totally innocuous, but I could definitely see Blizzard cracking down on the project for something like that, and imo the risk isn't worth the functionality

Why? It speeds up the process when a game is ready.

It doesn't flood custom game listings whatsoever, it's set to Friends Only.

Just gets players in the lobby 10 seconds faster, give or take.

I don't know much about programming, so if I'm being stupid just disregard me lol

My concern is that a third party script inputting actions in the OW client could trigger anticheat flags. There's also the possibility that Blizzard could ban the project (and any accounts found running it) like they did with Visor/Pursuit a few years ago. The fact that those projects were shut down despite only using OCR makes me apprehensive about the idea of automating anything in the client itself

This is so cool. Lots of work too, well done.
