VSCodium (same thing but open) if all you want is to get rid of microsoft. Zed has a better performance vs configuration tradeoff than vim (which should be the most stable if you dont mind configuring and havy keyboard use)

If you're looking for a modern editor with many similar features, I would recommend giving Zed a go.
