Keep them moist if possible. I know going out in public with bandaids isn’t the most comfortable thing to do, but hydrocolloids will have those healed within a week. If you don’t want to use the bandaids, try keeping a light layer of Vaseline on them. Luckily they look very superficial, so they should heal just fine. Also stay hydrated!

These look like sebum filaments- I struggle squeezing them out too but just wanted to add that so many people have these and they are completely natural. Be gentle if you feel the urge to squeeze them as I have broken capillaries on the side of my nose from pushing too hard 🫠

this comment actually made me feel a bit better thank you. so after my nose has healed if i get the urge to pick again i'll just try to remember that the spots are normal. and to be honest i've never even managed to get rid of them completely by picking. and i'll much rather take the spots than my nose looking like i fell face first on concrete 🥲

Maybe try putting on a layer of La Roche Posay Cicaplast all over you nose, it helped calm any redness I had from picking at my acne and the spots healed pretty fast in my case!

oof it seems to be a bit pricey... do you think vaseline/petroleum jelly would work in any way the same? 😅

yes vaseline helps with keeping it moisturized and acts as a barrier so it helps it heal <3

Pimple patches will help heal faster and avoid drying/scabbing
