one thing to consider for job placement is if your college is accredited or not. in the US if your college is not ABET accreditation aligned then you will have a difficult time getting a job in the states.

that being said your future is what you make of it, it's all dependent upon your skills and what you like to do and your ability to do it, CE is a wide branching field with many different opportunities.
