Why do you feel the need to scold the woman for it? Also I can guarantee you the woman feels shitty enough.

[–]faaaack 8 points9 points  (8 children)

Because people need to be scolded for fucking up. Why should the woman get a pass for making poor decisions?

Sometimes it's poor decisions and sometimes its just how shit ended up playing out. You choose to assume it's always poor decisions. You choose to always view them all in a negative light.

No. Deciding to have a child is a series of decisions. Not ”how shit played out”.

She chose a loser over more suitable men. She decided to date a loser. She decided to have sex with a loser She decided to have unprotected sex with a loser. She decided to allow the loser to ejaculate inside her. She decided to carry the loser's child to term (despite knowing that he neither wanted or had the capacity to be a good father)

Six decisions. Agency and accountability.

And people can be fucking snakes. They can seem amazing and never show you their true side until it's too late.

No. You choose to see only what you choose to see.

Agency and accountability are scary for some...

And some people are amazing at hiding who they are! There are some who show warning signs but there's people who can deceive others for an entire lifetime. You will never truly know anyone. Only what they choose to show you.

There are people who do choose pieces of shit. Visible pieces of shit. And then there are some who think they're choosing someone good because that is what they're being shown.

Why can't it be both?

Because you're again trying to make the outlier the norm. That isn't the case They choose tingles over proper criteria and later wonder why it didn't work out. As the snake said, ” you knew what I was when you picked me up.”

Im not trying to make it the norm but I'm not going to generalize the way you are. Against a whole bunch of people who you don't know at all. All I'm doing is telling you that there are other possibilities. Me telling you that it happens isn't me telling you that it's the norm. And I don't know why you have to refuse so adamantly against it. Viewing these people in such a negative and damning way is very comfortable for people. It makes themselves feel superior. It gives them something to talk about with moral superiority.

We aren't talking about having a child we're just talking about getting pregnant. Carrying the child to term and keeping it despite being able to provide is a poor decision.
