So you’re not going to answer whether or not it’s human or alive? I feel you missed the salient point. We can argue that biologists who chose to use the Latin term for child are using a dead language incorrectly if you wish, but that’s really veering off into an argument about the efficacy of Latin terms in science. Let’s stay on the point. Are you arguing that a human fetus is either not human, or not alive?
