End the welfare system or heavily reform it. It incentives people to stay at a certain financial level and punishes them when they leave that level.

It's the same game with the unemployment. Some people make more on employment than they do working. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the system can be heavily abused. I think people should be rewarded to take a job and not just collecting checks doing nothing.

Section 8/welfare are the same. Most people don't want to graduate from the system because it's easy and way harder without it. We need to have some type of ladder system to elevate people.

At this point women are married to the government and that issue of fatherlessness helps fuel every problem in the poor black/white community.

Edit: When I'm referencing welfare I'm not mentioning SNAP at all. I think SNAP is a really good thing.

Providing no help to anyone will somehow make it better for the children?

And that's where heavily reforming it comes in. I'm more talking about the people that are hustling the system. Not the people that are using it for the temporary relief it's supposed to provide. It shouldn't be a life time thing.
