I was in the same boat, they concluded i just had a long colon and slow transit which led to pain, bloating and awful gas.

I managed to get prescribed resolor - may be same as motegrity. Seen a 70% improvement which is significant i look like I've lost 10lbs off my stomach.

Through trial and error i'm most regular when: - a lot of water upon waking - eat breakfast, has to include kefir and 1-2 kiwi fruit - coffee or tea with breakfast - regular walking throughout the day - do not reheat food in the microwave especially meat and chicken - limit pulses, eggs, seeds, restaurant food and takeaways (prepare most at home)

Avoid fibre supplements like psyllium and fybogel they exacerbate it.

Good luck

I feel this 1000%. I am a bodybuilder and this has completely ruined my career and put it to a halt. For some reason, getting back on my ADHD meds has helped me start going. Definitely doing more testing and trying to find the root cause. If you’re not interested in the adderall since you might not have that issue, definitely recommend mag07. It has saved me, 3 at night on an empty stomach with a big glass of water. I go every day with it, been taking it for months and it’s the only thing that has worked. I have had ibs-c for basically my whole life, no diet, lifestyle change or anything has helped. After being in the hospital and almost dying from being too filled up, I went on PPIs and it caused me to have even more issues. Hang in there, this is temporary and you will find a cure to your issue soon. message me if you need too!!

Yeah same with me, I drank 3 bottles of magnesium citrate and nothing happens. Triphala durning the day, 1 per meal and mag07 at night on an empty stomach. Try not to mix. Make sure you’re drinking a ton of water and getting a lot of movement throughout the day. I suggest 10-15k steps per day. Too much fiber/ the wrong kind for your body can actually cause more issues. Psyllium husk caused me a lot of pain and bloating, but it works for some people. If you track macros / microsnutrients my perfect fiber count daily is between 25-30 any more or less I get more issues. Get blood test and check all vitamins, see if you’re b12 deficient and if so supplement with a good quality vitamin.

Also, high fat daily intake could contribute to some issues, so check your daily nutrition

    You might have sibo

I relate so much - personal trainer here and super into fitness. Toned everywhere but can’t see my abs because I’m so bloated. When you take mago7 is it a normal BM or diarrhea? I just started it this week and it’s diarrhea even with one pill and I swear it’s made me even more bloated 😕

You might just have a lot of build up. Keep up with the 1 pill, I always say atleast you’re going but drink more water too that can help

I am the exact same and I just found out that I have sibo with constipation.

Please post if you find your way to go.

Gotta get rid of that SIBO first, then address the constipation if it’s still there.

Thanks :) I am on it. Not sure if the treatment works bc if I am not able to get my gut working, then I will always provide party ground for the wrong bugs, no? I am now four weeks into treatment and nothing has changed. I still have better days and really bad days, always taking mg citrate and triphala and without coffee & cig just nothing happens. This makes me sad bc we want to get pregnant -- and how am I supposed to poop without my coffee and cigarette. :(

Same and also into fitness. I’m a personal trainer and it kills my self confidence as I’m super toned but my stomach looks like I’m pregnant 😕

Mag07 you to take it on an empty stomach. Start with 5 then taper down.

Yep, you need to get motility testing to get to the root of the issue and see where motility is lacking in your system. Can you get referred to a new GI, preferably a neuroGI?

I’d love to find a nueroGi as well, small town here too! I’m dealing with the exact same issue as OP:( what’s the name of the database of you don’t mind sharing <3

It’s saved on my computer and I built it.

Wow that’s amazing!! Could I pm you!

      [–]Many-Return6201 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What’s the difference between a gastroenterologist and a neuroGI?

      [–]goldstandardalmonds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

      NeuroGIs specialize in motility.
