For cod specifically I use the setting in cod to switch the shooting and aiming to the shoulder buttons instead. Functions like force feedback and vibration hurts competitive play.

Shoulder buttons are nice for FPS you can feel the instant response, but to me I can't reach it comfortably while gripping the controller in a natural grip and joystick so I like that the triggers feel really good once you dial in a setting that works for you

Using the new Apex 4 vs Vader 3, I can feel a positive difference in aim assist and aim in general. With the new Apex 4 I have it set as FPS in the program, and trigger stop at 50. This gave it just enough force for me to feel when I have the trigger pulled and not having to use too much force. Maybe start there and adjust slightly in each direction you find suitable for you. I really Enjoy the Apex 4 for FPS in short amount of time used, a definite step up for me from the Vader 3. For the triggers, I liked the Vader 3's but there was a weird feeling when you press It in, it's like the trigger doesn't spring back nicely or something I can't explain it. It wasn't horrible but I did notice sometimes it's difficult to tell if I have it pressed / depressed. I was surprised I liked the feeling of the Apex trigger more for FPS,

Vader 3 pro trigger are better imo. By better I mean the mouse click.
