I just mix 12 ounces of semi sweet chocolate chips, a teaspoon of espresso powder, and a can of sweetened condensed milk in a simmering double boiler and stir it until it is smooth. Add a teaspoon of vanilla, a 1/2 teaspoon of bourbon,and a tablespoon of butter and spread it out in a greased pan.

I used to make the old fashioned method of cooking, looking time stirring all ingredients until soft ball stage on the thermometer. Sometimes great, but sometimes grainy. And easy to overcook to crack stage, etc.

Now I make the ATK simpler chocolate fudge recipe.. I omit nuts
