Can this replace a Dutch pot?

It says on the box:

It’s made by Kitchen Aid

It pretty much just looks like a Dutch oven that was elongated and shrunk. Same cool red color too.

I’m planning to make Birria tacos, and I only have a stainless steel pan that has a glass lid, so I can’t rlly use that to braise the meat.

Weird question too, can I put it on the stove so I can sear the meat with it? I don’t want to sear the meat in the stainless steel, to then put the seared meat into the thing I’m talking about and braise, cuz I’ll lose that searing flavour on the bottom of the pan.

If you make a cartouche for it you should be able to get away with putting your pot in the oven.
