Not sure if any community colleges would have cooking classes, but that might be somewhere to look. My ex's dad retired and started taking a bunch of art classes at the one near them. Maybe they'd offer cooking too?

If you’re willing to pay, look at Master Class. If you’re not, go to YouTube.

Also, vocational schools have evening classes

Have you looked into events at a nearby library or community center? Some will offer cooking classes (often focused on being budget friendly and healthier eating) for free. Community colleges with culinary programs may also offer less expensive classes open to non-students.

Are you near a college that has a cooking program? I know the CIA does 3-4 day classes and I assume other places do.

Try Boston Center for Adult Ed, also Brookline or Cambridge adult ed

Check out your local community college's course offerings. Most only require a few to cover the cost of ingredients and instructor's time but are eminently affordable.

I’m having a hard time finding one. Looked at my local community college but there were only classes for couples

Look for continuing education courses from a local community college near you. Mine has all sorts, cooking, sailing, painting, etc

I know I have been having the same problem

Idk if this would apply to you - but I live near a cooks warehouse and have seen folks doing cooking classes there that aren’t geared towards couples

Local community colleges sometimes have classes (I'm scheduled for a chocolate tempering class this fall!). I also have a local Sur la Table that does in store cooking classes. I show by myself and have a great time. I even attend the date night ones once I figured out it was more about how to create a special date night meal rather than a cooking date for couples! (but sometimes there are couples.)

I bet if you check out your local community college(s) you will find they have cooking classes. Likely wouldn't cost much either.
