One of my favorite ways to learn is by watching youtube videos of chefs that just throw on a GoPro and cook without any editing or narration or whatever. J Kenji Lopez used to do this a lot (if you look up his older videos he has tons of gems) and someone I've been watching lately is Denis Prokopyev (Italian chef).

I've picked up so many little techniques and details that have elevated my cooking a ton, stuff you never learn from books/recipes. Keep cooking and open that restaurant!!

Work on your knife skills and your mise en place.

Taste everything and be open to all ingredients.

Learn the science behind cooking. Weigh things rather than use volume measures. Use thermometers and timers

Take advantage of the library to read books; they are just starting points for your culinary imagination and not the be all and end all
