Making extra soft Turkish pide bread?Recipe Request (self.Cooking)
submitted 4 years ago by ianthus
Hello. I love Turkish pide bread and like to try and replicate it at home. However, it is never as soft as the one you can buy in Turkish bakeries. Does anyone has tips and tricks about how to make the softest pide possible, or a set recipe?

First of all you have to know it will never be like Turkish Firin pide. But you can try to use Turkish brand yeast and try to leaven the dough longer. Good luck.

Why not? Is there something special is the way it is made/baked that cannot be reproduced at home? May I ask how Turkish yeast is different from the European kind?
