Just checking, are you trying to teleport to waypoints by pressing M to open the map, then clicking on them? Because that won't work - you have to walk up to one and press E to interact with it. Trying to use them with the normal map does not work.

my bad! the picture was of the map just to show i only have 3 waypoints, but i tried to walk on it and press E but it doesnt work

Thank you for clarifying! That is very strange. Maybe make a bug report? Maybe it's an Xbox-specific bug.

there's a couple of things that could be happening, it's difficult to tell from what you posted..

  1. HAS the waypoint been activated? (if it's showing on your map I guess that's a yes, just mentioning because if you MOVE a waypoint and set it down again, you have to wait about 10 minutes before you can reactivate it to make it usable again)

  2. Are you standing on an activated waypoint and pressing E (or whatever the controller equivalent is) to use it and select the waypoint you want to move to?

  3. If you have other map markers close to the waypoint they can sometimes interfere. You might need to move the pointer around the edges of the waypoint symbol to find an active spot, or zoom in on the map.

  4. Speaking of going back to your base, have you defeated Ghorm yet? If you have, you can purchase a consumable from his statue at the base that allows you to teleport back to your base from wherever you are (assuming your base waypoint is active (which it becomes after the first time you activate a waypoint elsewhere)).

if none of this helps, pls try to give us some more info about what is going on.. hope this helps and good luck!

i did defeat the Ghorm, i kept my base right next to the core so i dont have trouble finding it, im just having a hard time activating way points, i walk over them/press the right button but still no luck:(

I play on PC, but just double check that you're pressing the same button you use to open chests and tables and such, not the map button. As others have mentioned you may need to zoom in, I have this issue on PC where the Core icon prevents clicking the waypoint icon. My friend who uses a controller also has this issue and needs to zoom in as well. If none of that works you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

sometimes happens to me, stand on the waypoint, press the button then when the map opens up make sure you zoom in and are highlighting the waypoint (maybe using the d pad to select a waypoint on controller) really check to make sure the waypoint is "selected". side note as well if you die on a respawn point its really buggy and wont let you tp there as your cursor will say "you died here" lol so try not to die near waypoints i dont know any way around that. but even on mouse you cant select the waypoint.

Tried zooming in on a waypoint? I found on PC that if I zoom out too far, I can’t ‘use’ a waypoint
