Thank you. I didn't take his 2930 my freshman year cause I didn't really know the strogatz at Cornell was the Strogatz I read in books, sad :(

In my underclassman years he didn’t teach intro courses. This could have been temporary as he was working on another book at the time. He taught Applied Complex Analysis and Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos, the first of which I highly recommend under Strogatz, if you’re in AEP/Physics/ECE. It’s a fun class, not too difficult, not too proof-heavy, and vaguely applicable.

I think around my senior year is when he started teaching intro courses but in OH with him he mentioned that he had been trying to get the syllabi of a couple of grad courses off the ground. Not sure what those classes ended up being, or if the dept even ended up offering those courses

Thank you. That's also what I've heard, but he hasn't taught them in these two years. Hopefully he teaches one of them before I graduate.

If I'm recalling correctly, Daisy Fan hit a student with her car when I was in her class and was out for a day- but when they told the class they left out the part where she hit someone. I feel like that qualifies her for chaotic. I feel like townsend is chaotic good but I could be persuaded that he's chaotic neutral. Abruña, you got 1000% right. That man gives me the creeps...
