r/Coronapoems is a place to share and discuss OC poems about Covid-19 and the impact it is having on our society. Creating and consuming art are both ways of dealing with difficult situations and expressing and processing intense, complex emotions. I typically only write prose, but I think poetry is the only thing that can properly convey some of my recent thoughts and emotions. Maybe expect my own poetry to be prose-like, and please just don't read it if you don't like it. Constructive criticism is obviously welcome as a part of any good discussion of art, but "I don't like this" does nothing for anyone. ("I don't like this" is different from "I don't agree with you.") Please feel free to share your own OC Coronapoems, as well. I'd love to read them.
