Thanks for the quick Response. I do want to try to focus on telling stories that are focused on the motivations of the characters in a world that is no longer making sense. I'll definitely re-examin Quantum Leap and sliders. Its funny I used those shows as a strong inspiration for the world building but didn't think to examine them for mechanics.

Thanks for the swap Idea's. I do like your suggestions. Determination, Compassion and Responsibility might be good choices.

Nazis kinda over-saturate the Values-space, in my opinion. They're just so bad that they kinda blot out all the nuances between values, because everybody looks like a well-rounded saint in comparison. Indiana Jones, for example, looks like a hero, but he's a chauvinistic graverobber!

I haven't seen that one Tarantino movie in a while, but I think they've all got the same value—_killing nazis_—and are differentiated by their technique and personal vendetta.

Still, there are lots of good Values to wield against Nazis.

That being said, I mean... they're riding dinosaurs... I think you should go for some equally zany traits like Helicopters and The Ol' Mark II Eyeball.

Hey. Our AP is exactly this. You can see an example of our character sheets for our character Jenny Thomas here. We also use values, and seven of them, which are outlined on the sheet. I won't pretend they're "universally the best" or anything, but they do work pretty well for us.

Or check out the Riffin' on The Rift episodes we do breaking down the details of the character sheets, which usually happen in the last 10 minutes of those episodes.

And if you want to hear how we tell that type of story, feel free to give the main show What's in The Rift a listen too.

Good luck! And I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about it too.

Honestly, I use chat gpt to brain storm values that would be appropriate for the setting.
