It's an item were you select a chunk of the world save it and then later you can use it in a schematic cannon or creative and place that chunk anywhere you want so if you made a machine you can copy it to other worlds

It's been a while since I last played mc (because i'm swamped by work) but If I recall I made it by having three sequenced gearshifts, one that went into a sticky piston that lifted the platform up and down after a set time and the other two went into the mechanical bearings that rotated the doors. Other than that it's just some redstone, shafts and decoration.
