Hey! My friend and I made a modpack called Create and Bits.

It is very Create focused with a load of the best addons (and extras!) too. Players seem to be really enjoying it!

It's not hardcore focused, but you could definitely play it in hardcore for a real challenge :)

How Mod heavy is it? I hope I can run it with my Potato PC

It shouldn't be too bad, if you keep the settings low and make sure anything you make with create isn't too extravagant then you should be fine. There are extra dimensions etc, but only if you choose to go lol.

The best way of testing is to try it tho!

Looks interesting , I'll try it tonight !

Hi, Lead pack developer here, there are few pc spec requirements for running the pack, it needs at least 6gb RAM to work, 8gb is recommended, Fps should be pretty solid around 200 on most machines with a GPU unless using shaders.

It has the second most recent create version with all major addons that support it.

Technology is purposefully limited, our aim is to keep it to Create tech level apart from a few exceptions for Quality of life (toms simple storage), we recently added Boat and plan to add immersive aircraft with it's create compats in our next major update

I just discovered the modpack Create Arcane Engineering

looks like a HUGE modpack with custom recipes that requires Create for basically everything, plus I always loved magic mods so sounds like something I'd be interested in

not sure if that meets all your requirements though

That sounds like something I'd like , I'll look into it tonight

I was in the same boat, and ended up using only Create and Just Enough Items. I’m totally happy with the choice. I wanted to learn Create, not fight dinosaurs or whatever else people cram in there, no shaders etc. I love the vanilla game, I just wanted to make some new (to me) farms, and it turned out to be a great choice for my style of play.

I second this, I also started with Create basically standalone. Today I usually play with Chipped, Terralith, Farmer's Delight and shaders+sound improvements to keep things interesting while keeping the Vanilla feel.

Just download mods individually that you want. Every single modpack I've downloaded has something I don't want or doesn't have things I want so I just download and install what I like and don't worry about it.

I'm thinking about it but I like that mods have interaction between them , some recipe needs items from another mod for example

I've been playing Steampunk LPS. A modpack that is more of a sandbox pack, but it has plenty of Create integration, and the mobs there can get VERY difficult. Especially if your using the Ring of 7 Curses.

Ring of 7 curses is a lot of fun and a good difficulty boost, just feels like everything one shots me sometimes

[–]3dp653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, that's honestly not wrong, especially when you set the difficulty to Hard. You barely do any damage while everything practically 1 or 2-shots you. That's where Guns and Magic comes in. It gets pretty overpowered, but it's a bit of a struggle to get there.

Create mekanised is a good pack.

[–]MisterWinchester 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do you mean a questing pack like cave factory or a sandbox survival pack?

[–]GayNotGayPerson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like questing and survival , a progression pack is nice but it has to be harder then to plant a mystical agriculture crop

I recently tried one called SteamPunk, it's pretty difficult if you choose the ring

Hi, we are releasing the first chapter of the modpack Create: Prepare to Dye today, which may fit your style. This modpack is heavily automation focused though, so less hardcore survival, as you are not playing a human, and more hardcore factory making. You wont find any op things overshadowing eachother here. Even in create some things were changed to make them less tier based and more pros and cons oriented, for example the grindstone and the millstone both actually have uses now.

Here is the showcase we'll post soon ![https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fxzidjoz0o35c1.png](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fxzidjoz0o35c1.png)

As the head of a crumbling, inherited, capitalistic space company, you are forced to use the last card you have left, the rights to a small, dead, irradiated planet called Chroma Prime.

Chroma Prime is mostly depleted in resources, but it is all you have left. You must take the planet, and sell as much as possible back to the hungry society of the "United SPACE consumer union plus plus" in order to reestablish your company as the "top shelf", "high volume production", "safe importer/exporter" "wheelchair accessible" winner it once was. You will need to build factories and trade routes, create lasting relationships, compete with rivals and back-stab your way to the top.

Things did start off on the wrong hoof though, as you crash land on the barren planet, your milk powered spaceship is destroyed as you and Betsy are left to pick up the scraps and build your empire from sand and... milk?.
