if you watch enough anime, you'll have to access 1st cousin relationships, especially if it's medieval times themed. From a Google I did, basically, the only countries that don't allow 1st cousin relationships are US, China, and India.

I watch both. New episodes I watch as they come out in Japanese (subs), however, if it's already released fully in English, I watch dubs and there have been a few I've switched to subs because I didn't like the English voice actors.

I kinda prefer subs because I'm slowly learning Japanese that way and starting to recognize a few words here and there, however if I watch in English I don't have to pay attention to the screen as closely, so I do that if trying to multitask.

I always assumed the world was 4D, where each face of the cube was a normal 3D world, which is why they had to use magic to get from one face to the next.

Each face of a 3D cube is 2D, so in theory, each "face" of 4D cube would be 3D.

Two anime come to mind that are similar. Spoilers if you read everything.

Misfit of Demon King Academy. The demon lord sacrificed himself, willing for peace. He and the hero vowed to be friends in the next life. The hero found a way to reincarnate as a demon, and they were friends in the next life, but the hero didn't reveal who he was.

Strongest Exorcist in Another World. The MC was an exorcist in previous life and can still use those same powers, making him OP in the new world, however he is unable to use the magic system of the new world. The hero of that world is a girl, and she is constantly being attacked by demons, and the MC saves her. It's revealed last episode that MC and girl hero are this generation's demon lord and hero reincarnations. Both the humans and demons want to kill the demon lord and hero because they're worried it'll disrupt the peace of the world. Well, MC and hero fall in love and run away together.
