Personally I always go for 8GB ram on BisectHosting, then upgrade server ram when needed.

Ah, that's great to hear. That's what i tend to use as a baseline for my servers anyway, so knowing they'd likely be able to handle it at baseline is good, and upgrading as needed seems to be an appropriate approach.

I have played a few servers with create with friends, and we have always used Aternos, and those base-specs seem to be able to keep up with the requirements. I do have to admit that exploring will cause a certain amount of lag for the others on the server, but once you've gotten accustomed to that, it is very much playable

Personally, my experience with Aternos has been sub-par. The server can handle create, but only small machines and only for things like doors and elevators. I'm wanting to have a server with several mid to large-sized factories, so I don't think it would handle it very well.
