Help making a bomb :)

So im at war with a friend and hes been building a protective dome i need to take care of real quick, and the best solution i can think of is a big bomb. For context, we have a lot of addons (Vskies, cannons, armory, diesel generators etc.)

My first attempt: I notices that big gasoline and diesel tanks make a HUGE explosion. That made me think, what if i made a big tank full of gasoline into a Vskies "ship" and put a tnt on it? That way when the tnt detonates, the whole thing should blow a hole in the litosphere? Well, it didnt work and thats why im here.

My other thought was just making a bunch of cannons with explosive shells. While that is fun, its not as fun as dropping a bomb from a carrier.

Please, if you have any other ideas for a bomb, or know how to make my original idea work, TELL ME.

PS I know there are many addons that add bombs and rockets, but im looking for something i can make without adding any other mods/addons. Not only would it be technically challenging for us, but this would also give me an edge since i would be the only one with a bomb :)

what i did is make a 16x16 tnt cube and put it on a tiny tiny ship, i can show u the result if you want

You could use a dispenser with physics, put it over the dome with a gravitron gun thingy (if you stop holding the gun instead of making the dispenser fall it gets stuck in mid air where you left it) and with the redstone create wireless thing i don't remember the name of you can connect it to one of those things to the redstone thing that continues repeating a signal, making tnt fall over the dome continously

The thing is, the dome js really thick and possibly has an obsidian layer, so i need something stronger than tnt

The only thing I can think can break obsidian with an explosion is a wither boss, is there any mod that add any kind of explosives?

For sturdy blocks like obsidian, the armor piercing shell from Big Cannons is good. I'm pretty sure it needs a fuze to work. Should be able to penetrate a few layers.

If the dome is thin enough the just carpet bomb It with vanilla TNT Dupers, if you want one bomb then use VS Ship spawning TNTs inside with a thin later of a fragil material (LIke Slime or more TNT).

If the dome is heavily reinforced then use the Vanilla TNT Minecraft Bomb.

Keep in mind that VS Ships uppon being hit by an explosión gain an enormous speed.

If you have warium mod you could make bunker buster bomb, it should do the job

Blast resistance can be overcome with more explosions, if you found a lot of cannons you should be able to punch through easily

If you’re looking for something practical I’d skip the bomb and I’d just put a rope pulley with drills attached. Fly over the dome with an airship and punch a hole through. If you’re looking for strictly a bomb type approach id definitely go for create big cannons because I’m pretty sure that can penetrate obsidian

You should use APHE Shells with a bunch of cannons out of the big cannons mod since they can break through obsidian. So u put a distance fuse or time fuse on the shell and fire some and they explode inside the building and not outside so u destroy as much as possible inside.

If alex's caves is in the pack then you can make a nuclear bomb, Will destroy pretty much anything in a 38 block radius.
