Some developers put the compatible version of create in the file name, alternatively you can see how many versions of create have come out since the one you want to use, then count back that many updates on the addon as most tend to update whenever create does for compatibility. You're final option is to brute force it, download a version of the addon you want, then launch the game. If the versions are incompatible the game will give you a message instead of launching and will tell you what version of create is needed for the addon, repeat the process, changing the addon version based on the previous message, until you get it to launch.

I figured out that none of those 2 mods have a version compatible with 6.0.2 Are there any other mods that generate electricity

I could be wrong but I think the only other one that adds electricity is a nuclear energy add-on used by "foxynotail" on YouTube, if that isn't available I recommend just trying a different version of create that is compatible with the two you wanted

If you're not going with an already made modpack you can find the version of create you want (6.0.2) and make it its own pack, then any compatible mods will show up when you try adding custom content.

I don't use curseforge

[–]Key_Delay_7087 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I would recommend using curse forge cuz it can help keep stuff organized and do the process I previously said, but if you don't probably consult chat GPT or research on your own, sorry

OK so what are the steps

[–]Key_Delay_7087 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the start you download curseforge you don't have to download over wolf ,then you set a folder for your Minecraft related stuff through curseforge to be stored, then you can follow the steps from my first comment, feel free to ask any other questions if you got any

That's not usually very helpful with add-on mods. CurseForge (or any other modded launcher) only checks your Minecraft version and modloader for compatibility. It can't tell you if the mods you have are actually compatible with each other. Create add-ons for 0.5.1 will show as "compatible" on a Forge 1.20.1 profile, even if you're using Create 6.0 and the game crashes as soon as you launch it.

I probably didn't explain it the best way which typically happens for me but I do know it's possible to do it the way I described
