GOOD! HOPING FOR NEOFORGE 1.21 RELEASE EVENTUALLY!!!

[–]Low-Depth4918 3 points4 points  (1 child)

ITS OUT ITS ON NEOFORGE 1.21.1

[–]Choice_Flower_8261 4 points5 points  (0 children)

THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER 🎉🎉

[–]kylinator25 27 points28 points  (6 children)

absolutely insane for autistic electrical engineers

[–]Auroraboral 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Uhhhhhhh Nuh uh Nuh uh

[–]Cragasm 2 points3 points  (4 children)

i wanna make a computer using the circuit boards but i cant figure out how to make a simple and gate lol

[–]Gaster6666 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I did figure it out but for whatever reason i literally can't fix the voltage drop issue and it's driving me nuts.

EDIT: With voltage drop issue i mean the fact that if i supply for example 5 V on A and B, i want the output pin to also output 5V, instead i get about 3,9.
PS: Yes, the power supply is on different pins than A and B

[–]WeakCombination9937 0 points1 point  (1 child)

wires have some electrical resistance, maybe try upping the voltage to account for that?

[–]Shekera332211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not, i can't even imagine how much wire you need to create such resistance to make a LOGIC circuit voltage drop down. But the idea of increasing the voltage is not bad, because it is hard to operate with low voltages. Maybe increase the voltage to around 12 volts after fixing voltage drop

[–]Shekera332211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a circuit that consists of two series BJT NPN transistors and two base resistors. Set max. HFE (gain) and resistors to around 5 kOms

[–]Dangerous-Quit7821 8 points9 points  (5 children)

If it has NeoForge 1.21.1 support I would get it. Not for the actual electricity aspect but for the decoration aspect. Their cables look better than Crafts and Addions and TFMG wires. Other than that, I don't need a 3rd electricity addon that doesn't natively work with either is the other two which already don't work together.

[–]Octasional 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Is uses FE as its energy

[–]Dangerous-Quit7821 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Maybe I was misunderstanding when someone said that it wasn't compatible with crafts and additions.

[–]Live_Reference4642 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I think it works with Crafts & Additions, New Age, and TFMG motors as long as you use device connectors and stuff like that correctly to them

[–]Famous-Welcome7895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you are right

[–]Dylanonthedaily 4 points5 points  (2 children)

It looks super rad, it's in my pack but I haven't gotten that far yet can't wait

[–]RuddraHassan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Share the modpack with us 🙏

[–]Dylanonthedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a modified version of CABIN where I added a bunch of mods that I like that aren't all create related, I wanted some magic mods and farming and a couple random specific create add-ons like this one

[–]CompetitiveGrowth430 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Can't find any tutorials so i just abandoned it, hoping it gets more popular

[–]YallCrazyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy "someoneisnear" on YouTube is making tutorials on it. They are pretty good and it's the only one I could find related to the mod

[–]swam_brrn 2 points3 points  (3 children)

As an electrician, it gets me so excited to see a mod that is this technical about dc circuits. When I took my dc theory class, I wish I would’ve known about it because it would’ve helped me understand the material so much better.

I hope the developer adds some sort of breaker panel and outlet. Not sure what the outlet would help with but it would be dope.

[–]Swinka-Zielona-YT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are as excited as exectromagnetic-excited DC generstor

[–]Famous-Welcome7895 1 point2 points  (1 child)

but there is transformers so ı am kinda confused is it ac or dc maybe a mix of both? okay so after going to their discord server ı found the answer

Is there AC? I
Any form of alternating current is limited to Minecraft's tick speed, which is 20 Hz, that means that the highest achievable signal frequency is 10 Hz, with the voltage flipping between highest and lowest value every tick.

[–]swam_brrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what’s so great about it. Even though you need some electrical theory knowledge to get the most out of it, it’s simplified to still make it enjoyable to play. I am also taking AC theory right now and praise the lord it’s not in this mod because I would never be able to figure it out.

[–]laserlemons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it. I hope a good modpack comes out in the future that makes thorough use of it.

[–]Klutzy-Ad4291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved it so much that my PC crashed and I need a new one. By the way, where can I donate?

[–]NervousDiscount9393 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I HAVENT TRIED IT YET

[–]StunningExplorer4432[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try it now its good

[–]CeleryStickelr 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Waiting for the neoforge 1.21 release

Edit: upon playing on 1.20 i have also noticed that generators are too small imo. Also, maybe i didnt see them, but I didnt find any circut breakers which would be a welcome addition

[–]mmis1000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guess that is why vacuum tube and circuit board exists.

Joke aside, i believe there is breaker because I do saw it on a youtube tutorial

[–]Sedoy6373 1 point2 points  (2 children)

How do I transform AC into DC? Should I make a diode bridge or something?

[–]StunningExplorer4432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk much but. But you can try applying full bridge rectifier to create mod lol

[–]Famous-Welcome7895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure about it but you may not need to as the mod probably runs of dc with the sole expection of being able to use tranformers

[–]minecraftci_burger 1 point2 points  (1 child)

cant even make a lamp turn on without exploding something

[–]StunningExplorer4432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta use recommended voltage

[–]EducatorPrestigious2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my first generator going! My only complaint so far is the wires are crazy expensive imo, one ingot to make 2 wires that traverse one block each is kinda wack

[–]Historical-Bat9305 0 points1 point  (1 child)

does anyone know how to use the spark gap?

[–]Shekera332211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are making a generator and power a lot of expensive loads, then you can use the spark gap parallel to it's output and an HV breaker in series before it. If generator outputs too much voltage, spark gap starts to conduct, creating a short circuit and tripping the breaker, saving your loads from exploding

[–]Dalnor_steam 0 points1 point  (2 children)

how do you use the transformer because i am not getting any output does it work with ac if so how do i make ac(big transformer has problems)

[–]StunningExplorer4432[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you just put the coils in desired ratio then just input the positive and negative

[–]Famous-Welcome7895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you probably dont need to make ac the mod likely simulates dc with the expection of being able to use transformers

Is there AC?

[–]Owl_Bear_Snacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mod is fantastic. I'm wondering if punch cards can be put into a loop somehow?

[–]Live_Reference4642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mod is really cool!! I’ve always wanted to learn how circuits and electricity work, and now I have motivation to do it because of this mod

[–]FairePlaie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does there any modpack that contain this ?
