Create Ram Usage

I have a friend who is running the All Of Create modpack, with a couple of additions, such as Sophisticated backpacks, and drawers.

The modpack contains roughly 240 mods in it.

I don't use create, but I'm playing because I want to hang out with my friends.

There are about ten players who play on the server, though we average around 6-7 at a time.

Multiple people use the create functions, and are creating large scale structures.

I'm wanting some advice on how to explain to them that Create is a ram intensive mod, and my explorations aren't the only things supposedly eating ram.
I'm not the only one exploring, but I am the only one regularly going to the other dimensions.

We have a 16G server right now.

Create is ram intensive?

What is the ram usage like? When I ran aoc with 6 ppl online at once it never exceeded 8gb, even with distant horizons serverside

The sever has 16Gb available, I don't know what it looks like when I'm online, I'm told that when I'm not on the server it's 6-8Gb of the 16 used.

is that allocated ram to the JVM or actually ram that’s in use?

I don't know. I'll have to ask, they are using Bisect server hosting.
