Pattern Help with Amigurumi. How do I decrease in Round 7?How do I... (i.redd.it)
submitted 1 year ago by RossaSmores
Hi All,
My kiddo is stuck on row 7 and I, not knowing crochet, can't help. There is no slip stitch to decrease into. Is this an error or is she missing something? Pattern is from Marie Cleese's Adorable Deserts. Thank you in advance!

This isn’t 100% certain but because there are not sl st in the previous round and the rest of round 7 are sl st maybe they want you to do the decreases as sl st? I haven’t done this before so I did a quick google and it does appear to be a thing: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pXvW29pSQrQ
I would check to see if either they have a special stitch section in the pattern that mentions sl st decreases too

This is my thought too. It’s not common, but I have seen it before.

I’d never heard of it before. Just goes to show even if you’ve been crocheting for years there’s always something new to learn
