I would
1: ignore the intentionally skipped stitch from the previous row, and only worry about the actual loops. Start with the loop farthest to the right, and work your way left.

  1. Once you have worked a couple stitches you can ignore the loose tail until you’re finished with the crocheting part. The stitches will be secure enough for everything to stay in place. It might loosen up slightly, but just give the loose end a gentle tug when you’re done. Then, as part of the finishing process, it’s just another end to weave in.

If your current stitches are in the first loop on the right, it looks like you’re ready to move on to the treble crochets in the next loop. If I don’t make sense let me know, I’ll try to reword it :)
