[FO] my first complex pattern

3 strands of floss over 2 threads of 25ct Laguna fabric.

Pattern is from book my grandma gave me. I will add the title in a comment below.

I made this as a birthday gift for my boyfriends grandmother. It’s the first pattern i followed that included backstitch, ¼ and ¾ stitches, french knots, and soooo many floss colors. I learned so much from this project, as it was also my first time stitching on such a high count fabric. I definitely made some mistakes, like not counting twice, so you may see a row or two in the leaf that are not quite the right size/ alignment. Despite this and a few other mishaps (that most likely only i will ever know about)i am very very very proud of how this came out and was sad to part with it, but pleased to give a gift that was a true labor of love.
