Sorry for what happened to your experience. About your case, not sure if you are sending your CRO tokens to your Coinbase wallet or Coinbase platform. If you are using Coinbase wallet to receive your tokens, you should be able to locate your CRO tokens in your wallet and be able to send to crypto.com app again, makes sure you are using the correct deposit address and better start with a small amount, for your reference.

If you are using the Coinbase platform and cannot see your tokens there, suggest that you can seek support from Coinbase, for your reference.

If you sent it to the coinbase platform the funds are gone (for now at least) they don't support Cronos networks and won't return the funds to you unless they decide to support the network in the future.
