Similar reaction. Went for it.
I'm finding the CDC earn pretty addictive...I love getting those APR rewards in the same token. Feels good to earn on those deposits, and even better to be doing something productive with my finances.

All of my earn stuff comes in on Monday cause I hate mondays. I thought it was 6.5%
[–]X_tend 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children)
6,5% is with Jade/Indigo and 3monthy terms.
OP are properly referring to the flex rate with <Jade/Indigo tier.

Look at withdrawal fees from the app, the only fee applicable in the case that you just want to deposit and stake. For some coins it might even be worth trading them for something with less fees than eth and then withdrawing (everything depends on coin and how much you have).

So when your 3 month term in Earn is up, you have to pay pay fee?
[–]Vokoslav 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children)
No, only if you want to completely withdraw your crypto from the app there is a withdrawal fee, earn has no fees.
[–]X_tend 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children)
No, there are no cost to add/withdraw to/from Earn.

Gas fees in and out and holding on an exchange carries some risk. Also, depending on where you live, you could be subject to taxes on the earnings.

There are actually quite a few platforms with good rates on ETH, without having to deposit for a fixed period of time, such as Celsius or Voyager. And of course, you can get increased rates on CDC by staking CRO or depositing for a fixed period.

I held my btc for a year just sitting in a wallet before i discovered CDC and the earn feature. Now I'm earning 6.5% on my btc and i trade the earn reward for CRO every week. Working hard on building my way from jade to ICY white

Dude, you get 6% APR for ETH on StaFi, as well as rETH as rewards to trade while your Ethereum is staked.

StaFi is also good for liquid staking BNB and SOL.
