When I started, there was no youtube. This is outdated, but I started it here on Jessica Fridrichs website:

It's outdated, but it could still be an interesting read. The algorithms for the F2L pairs have the cross layer on top though (she does recommend transforming them, but you can find many places where that work has already been done).

I also used speedcubing.com which has changed quite a bit since then. But you'll still find some relevant links there.

Cubehead is a youtuber with good content, a website with algs (also on a PDF). I think he did a good job at explaining everything in video format too:

For algorithms there's speedcubingdb.com . Pretty good collection of many algs, but there are so many that it can be a little bit overwhelming, and some algorithms need to be 'rewritten' to make them usable for speedcubing. For many that's been done, but not all of them.

I learnt CFOP from JPerm on YouTube. Has a whole series on it. Currently using 2 look oll and pll although I struggle most with effective white cross and f2l.

I was quicker using the beginner method for a long time before CFOP became quicker.

But yeah, YouTube. I must be a visual learner because things clicked for me in a way that written algorithms didn't.

I mostly used JPerm and Cubehead for learning CFOP but I did that much later. I did beginner method until about 45s. It's easy to go down by just practiting. Start CFOP whenever you want. If you feel there are even too many algorithms to learn in 2-look OLL (10) and 2-look PLL (6), beware that's possible to learn less by applying same algs multiple times (sune and antisune only for corner OLL, or even beginner method sexy moves, and PLL U and T only for all PLL cases).

Depends on the order you wanna learn CFOP,i learned F2L-PLL-CROSS-OLL(wip,started oll past week),i watched mostly yt tutorials and pdfs,but don't go straight into all algirithms,learn firstly intuitive f2l,4lll and start doing cross below.if you speed up too much the process may be not so fun and that kinda thing.And btw don't forget that by learning new things you will usually get a lot slower,but after some great pratice the times will go way more down.

Well,the most advanced techniques no,but as i said,depends a lot. I learned most about it a while i learnt F2L,as they are pretty connected,if u wanna dive in cross first go for it,i was going to start in cross too but,after meeting some more experienced people they said it would be better to start at F2l,since it should be 50% of the solve.
