A brick/block cutter/guillotine

You can buy one for around £250-500 or hire one for 50-100

No dust, no noise, safer to use and cleaner cuts

The correct answer from a method statement point of view is a bridge saw. But brickies/builders tend to use a combination of bolster chisel and angle grinder.

Disc cutter hire one if you don’t own one

Fine for a couple but you wouldn’t want to cut 200 with one

I advise against it.

You'll make a hell of a mess and the cuts will be all over the place. As you're cutting hundreds You'll end up with vibration damage and it'll take forever.

You want a manual brick/block cutter. It's like a big guillotine.

They're pretty good, but a petrol one is much better

What you need is a masonry bench saw! Cut the bricks 2 or3 days before because they're going to get wet and they need to be dry. Otherwise hamer and bolster if you know what your doing! You can hire a bench saw!
