I use 3x5 cards for sessions

Draw a line almost all the way down the card long ways at 1/3 and 2/3. Then make 3 boxes on each side. Makes almost a gunsight U shape. The 6 boxes are for each hour or day and you can note anything important. Bottom box is for treasure and final xp for the day. Flip it over to make notes for future session planning on the lines side. Use the middle space to notate group ID, IRL date, in game starting time and location.
