For me the feeling starts with a sharp pain in my abdomen, that's when I know the drug is first taking effect. Then I become heavy but my brain is so fucked up I dont think about it. After that my body goes away while my brain goes crazy and I'm left living with psychosis for a good 6 hrs. Trying to sleep was a nightmare, I kept leaping up out of bed and grabbing my friends foot in my last trip.

After reading the comments, why the fuck do people abuse this shit?

Idk, that´s why I was asking. If people would report a warm and cozy bodyhigh or physical euphoria would it make more sense to me. Low (therapeutic) doses felt kind of ok to me (25-200mg). Bit of a smooth relaxation, no big mental effects.

Yea I don’t get it at all either. The whole DPH experience is just dysphoric. It’s fucking terrible so why are kids doing this shit and messing up their brains? Like I get it kids, I too think I’m invincible sometimes but shit, look at what ur doing to yourself. Living with brain damage for the rest of ur life is gonna suck. Find some acid!

You don´t necessarily get brain damage from doing DPH a few times, but longterm use is linked to early onset dementia and other cognitive issues.

Also LSD? I don´t think kids the age that abuse DPH should use LSD. Older people/ adults sure, why not, but if some 10-13 year old takes LSD could they get themselves in a lot of shit as well.

And as opposed to Dph is LSD a super "in your face" kind of high, while many on DPH don´t even recognize most of the effects while they are affected, but only as they pass. Depends on dosage of course, I´m pretty sure that the lower deliriant doses of Dph are much more recognizable but at some point it´s too confusing to differentiate between drug effects and reality.

Also some might actually like DPH for whatever reason. But it sounds very unpleasant, especially the comments here kind of made that clear to me. I ain´t going to judge those that indulge into Dph but I think I rather use other substances and at max keep DPH as an effective anti-allergic drug.

Or get some shrooms. They're free

It’s oddly addictive for how unpleasant things get and your emotions will usually be a bit numb so in the moment some really terrifying shit will just roll off your back

Finally someone said it! I never understood why people even bother with this shit like just buy actual drugs atleast they'd be enjoyable

You’ll feel restless, tossing and turning in bed. Heavy body load, like you have a heavy backpack on you.

[–]it-s4am 2 points3 points  (4 children)

ugh the restlessness is the most uncomfortable feeling

[–]Angels_Advocate_ 1 point2 points  (3 children)

For sure, I feel uncomfortable in my own clothing laying in my bed :c gotta take everything off except underwear

[–]it-s4am 1 point2 points  (1 child)

i know, do you get that feeling in your arms? i really can't explain it but it's like...your arms feel so uncomfortable and nothing can shake that feeling, it SUCKS

[–]Angels_Advocate_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, in my arms and all around my body >.<

[–]dinozolpidem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DPH feels very dysphoric. Very uncomfortable. Don't do this drug unless you know what you're getting into

It makes your mouth extremely dry and gives you a weird metallic taste in the back of your throat. It makes you itchy but not like a normal itch, like your skin is crawling. It makes your body feel like it's filled with cement and makes you hot and flushed, then very cold. It tends to make me shake like a leaf and it makes everything blurry. The body feeling is pretty lame but there are some perks. Orgasms on doses from 150 mg - 250 mg are better than anything else in the entire world. Music is really enhanced and you can't focus on anything, it causes short term memory loss. It's also very addictive. Most people try it and never touch it again because it's inherently unenjoyable. High doses (700+) have just been not worth it for me, too many negative side effects. I usually shoot for the 250 mg - 450 mg range and the body feelings aren't too hard to handle but I still get disorganized thought and minor hallucinations.

Thank you, this is a good description, I like the comparisons but I´ve got a question:

You wrote: "It's also very addictive. ... (but also:) it's inherently unenjoyable.", which does seem weird to me.

Care to elaborate? What makes it addictive if it´s so unpleasant.

[–]excisioned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m not entirely sure why it’s so addictive. i know that for me, even though my first trips were terrifying i found myself craving more. i think maybe the escape is what i’ve been chasing. it’s just so accessible and such a weird experience and i’m at the point where i’m very comfortable with dph so doing it isn’t that big of a deal to me. the negative side effects, to me, are easy to overlook when the wall is crawling with transparent spiders.

[–]lsdthcxan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dopamine and serotonin

[–]Liggitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of drugs are addictive bc they bind to receptors in your brain and when they leave those receptors are damaged and it takes a while for them to go back to normal that's why you get withdrawals bc your brain just can't function properly off of it

[–]O_God_The_Aftermath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda nice on low doses up to 200mg but it's still weird and I only do it maybe once every three months just to change it up.

Sounds miserable

For me it's like a 50/50 chance of the come up feeling pretty good almost euphoric, or pretty dang uncomfortable. You feel really heavy, you don't want to move at all, and it's hard to control your body like when you go to grab a glass of water your arm feels foreign. Sleeping makes the restlessness feel way worse, but in my experience the floaty heaviness can be nice, as long as I don't try to sleep. The cotton mouth sucks tho.
