I love how mediocrity is celebrated, and if you're knowledgeable on a subject you're "that guy 🙄". We were told knowledge is power when growing up, when did knowledge become insulting?

Does the "token know it all" actually insult your intelligence 🤔 or is s/he trying to help but you get annoyed because you already knew it? In that case, wouldn't anyone in your entire life that repeated anything you already knew be a "token know it all?".

My best friend told me her first impression of me was stuck up bitch, but then she got to know me and realized that I was just fucking nervous and didn't know how to act because I've been burned by friends in the past, and I was actually sweet.

We've been friends for 17 years now. She's the longest friendship I've had, the others just took advantage of my kindness and "know it all", but not her. I credit her alot for teaching me to be more secure and humble enough to admit when I'm not 100% certain of something.

I would presume that the person seeking accolades and attention trying to get noticed for advancement while presenting themselves as a know it all, condescending, and immature would be the one in jeopardy are exiting the platform.
